Popularly called Mama Adisa mainly by the youth who come into contact with her, is a professional teacher. She has served as the Assistant Regional Officer for the National Council on Women and Development for the Northern Region in Ghana. A proponent of the literacy approach to development, she established the Nwodua Adult Literacy School, in the Northern Region of Ghana. Adisa also believes in practically demonstrating policies that positively impact on the lives of people she works with. In this light, she has practically demonstrated a sustainable livelihood project at Sagnarigu village. She serves as a mother to a lot of young people not only in the area she lives but to many around the globe.
