2008 EWB National Conference Montreal, Quebec - January 16-19, 2008

For the past eight years, EWB has translated actions into impact in Canada and overseas. As a proactive organisation, we're always trying to get feedback on our actions in order to learn, improve and have influence. Throughout the different projects we have accomplished since our beginnings, we had the opportunity to face challenges that helped us learn how to contribute to international development in a more appropriate way. With acquired knowledge and experience, we have built a strong foundation here in Canada and overseas. The inßuence we wanted to have lead us to think about Translating our future Actions into real Impact. This is no more a forecast, but something that we want to measure, to quantify in order to track its positive changes.

The 2008 National Conference is a fantastic opportunity to make conscious the connection between our actions in Canada and in Africa with impact overseas. It will bring together all the tremendous people that make EWB such an energetic organization to explore the ways that individuals and groups can contribute to human development. Conference speakers and workshops will examine issues at the local, national and international levels, both in terms of particular practices and approaches to development overseas, and those we can undertake in Canada to support positive change overseas.
